Justice
Justice has been identified as a key community planning theme for Black Lake. Community members are concerned with safety and have committed to making it a key priority for their community. Issues identified during engagement meetings include graffiti, vandalism, lack of support from police and lag in authority’s response to incidents.
Goals
- Improve the effectiveness of community emergency services.
- Address issues of vandalism and improve safety.
- Explore traditional methods of justice that align with Denesuline heritage and culture.
